TULSA, Okla. 鈥?TULSA, Okla. 鈥?A man who was paralyzed after a fall during a local Black Lives Matter rally in May 2020 has sued multiple agencies, including the city of Tulsa and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol OHP .The lawsuit alleges deliberate indifference by local authorities led to his debilitating injuries.Thomas Knight, who said he was attending the rally with his family, was paralyzed from the waist down after falling from a highway overpass during the demonstrations.The rally began in downtown Tulsa s Greenwood District. According to the lawsuit filed in federal court on Monday, Knight followed the crowd as it entered an access ramp and went onto I-244.The lawsuit alleges the Tulsa Police Department funneled the crowd onto the I-244 acces stanley cup s ramp.Demonstrators walked onto the highway, blocking traffic. Among the vehicles blocked by the demonstrators was a horse trailer, and witnesses say the driver brandished a weapon. MISSOULA 鈥?The Montana Highway Patrol confirms one person died in a wrong-way accident on Interstate 90 near East Broadway Wednesday afternoon.The accident happened at 1:18 p.m. near mile marker 106 on Interstate 90.Both eastbound and westbound lanes are closed indefinitely in this area.Traffic is being detoured around the accident. Westbound traffic is being diverted at the East Missoula exit onto West Broadway. Eastbound traffic is being diverted at the Van Bure airmax n exit onto Broadway, then onto I-90.Missoula County Public Schools is also saying that the crash may cause 15 to 30-minute delays on their afternoon bus routes.Mountain Line is also reporting that some bus routes in the area are being d jordan elayed because of the crash.MTN reporter Kent Luetzen is on the scene.
