2) in subsection (f)(1)-- (A) in subparagraph (C), by striking ``or'' at the end; and (B) by adding at the end the next: ``(E) any felony that isn't in any other case a crime of violence that entails a minor sufferer or that includes the possession or use of a firearm or destructive system (as these phrases are outlined in part 921), or another harmful weapon, or entails a failure to register beneath part 2250 of title 18, United States Code; or''; and (3) in subsection (g), by putting paragraph (1) and inserting the following: ``(1) the nature and circumstances of the offense charged, including whether the offense is against the law of violence, a Federal crime of terrorism, or involves a minor sufferer or a controlled substance, firearm, explosive, or destructive device;''. The division, for regulation enforcement functions or for supervision and remedy purposes, shall release all relevant information described by Subsection (a), including data that isn't public info under Subsection (b), to a peace officer, an employee of an area legislation enforcement authority, the Texas Civil Commitment Office, or the legal professional general on the request of the applicable particular person or entity. |
