About attractions
Hello Guys,
Only if you really think about Accommodation?! We have more detailed information about attractions
Something truly special lies within Blue Mountains National Park that sticks with you. Could be the eucalyptus trees throwing a blue haze across the ridges, or the sandstone walls burning orange at dusk while birds fill the valleys with their evening song. Whatever the reason, every time I head west from Sydney Harbour towards that misty horizon, I’m reminded how extraordinary this World Heritage site truly is.
I’ve been guiding travellers through this region — from Echo Point and the Three Sisters to Jenolan Caves and the Megalong Valley — for years, and trust me, the Blue Mountains experience goes far beyond a quick visit. They’re the perfect escape from urban chaos, a wild cathedral carved from rock and filled with forest-scented air.
Just 90 minutes from Circular Quay via the Great Western Highway, the Blue Mountains is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. It’s a protected area of over a million hectares, connecting with the distant Wollemi ranges. It’s a patchwork of steep gorges, rainforests and eucalypt forests, habitat for more than 400 native animal species, from curious wallabies to secretive dingoes and mimicking lyrebirds.
