Do you have trouble sleeping? Does it seem like spiritual warfare when you lay your head on your pillow and long for a good night of sleep? If so, I can feel your pain. I often have that trouble as well. Sometimes we cause our own insomnia issues and sometimes it just seems like the devil doesn’t want us to sleep. The good news is that God is stronger than the devil! We can turn to God and find comfort in Him and get the peaceful night of sleep that we need. We can be confident that God will hear our prayers for peaceful sleep! Getting proper sleep is as important as getting proper nutrition. Sleep helps us rest, heal, and be revitalized. Good sleep helps us with the things we generally relate to sleep, like having more energy and being more alert. However, getting a good night of sleep also help us with things such as strengthening our heart, regulating our sugar, helping our digestion, and regulating our weight.
