Palfrey has a daughter, Lowri Palfrey, who can also be an actress. On July 21, 2006, the director of the group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) acquired copies of the e-mails from considered one of her staff members, who had acquired it two days earlier. The Washington Post reported it had acquired its copies of the identical IMs from a web page who had served on Capitol Hill with the two pages to whom that they had been addressed. Both have been former pages - the first was a Republican who would "never vote for a Democrat", and the second was a Democrat from the same class as the two pages who received the messages. Kolbe later said that the former page, whom Kolbe had sponsored, told him of a "creepy" e-mail from Foley, but didn't present it to him. Two former pages have told information organizations that Foley organized sexual liaisons with them however only after they turned 18 and 21 respectively. On November 21, 2011, Frazier announced that Louis Freeh, former director of the FBI, would lead an internal investigation into Penn State's actions. |
