At-risk youth a stanley cup re finding themselves through performance art at Amazing Grace Conservatory, which offers classes in dance, improv, singing, acting and spoken word.Nijah, a 13-year-old, says singing makes her feel bold.  It gives me a chance to express my emotions in a different way than talking, because for me, sometimes talking about what I really feel can be hard,  Nijah said.Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, who grew up in South Los Angeles and co-founded the nonprofit, says discovering the arts at a young age changed her life.                                         There were gangs,  Robinson said.  In my high school yea stanley cup rbook there were 10 pages that were dedicated to lives that have been gone by drive-by shootings and I had to make a choice. She started Amazing Grace Conservatory to give other at-risk youth a stage and a chance.         I think the greatest thing you can give to a child is a platform for them to have their voice,  she said.  It s not about just acting, singing and dancing. It s about those life skills. More than 7,000 students have performed there, including 12-year-old Braylon, who says improv classes helped him face uncertainties. In life, you don t really have a script to live based off of. Last season, tight end Martellus Bennett helped lead the New England Patriots to their incredible Super Bowl victory. Now, he s suiting up with the Green Bay Packers and rolling out a football-themed comic book as part of his ongoing effort to spark creativity in kids, reports CBS News  Jan Crawford.For Bennett, football was always plan B. His new comic book series is just one small part of his plan A: A growing company called the Imagination Agency where the NFL star is churning out children s books, cartoons, clothing, apps and toys -- all with the goal of inspiring  adidas campus children to dream.The multimedia company is headquartered in the basement of B stanley cup ennett s colorfully decorated home just north of Chicago. There, Bennett creates videos stanley cup , writes books and comes up with ideas hoping to make kids like his daughter believe the impossible.                                         I feel like without imagination you cannot create solutions,  Bennett said.  For me it s the whole idea of the Imagination Agency is to get kids to dream bigger. Bennett also brings his message directly to communities where he feels it s most needed.        This summer, he visited with kids from Chicago s South Side, where more than 400 people have been killed so far this year.
