I have been struggling with bad pain on my left side for months now to the point where I can't even turn my head and have to pivot my entire upper body to look to the left. I think perhaps a pinched nerve in my neck (but not diagnosed). I have pain in my right shoulder blade, up into my neck, on my front near my clavicle, and all the way down my left arm. My neck clicks when I turn my head in certain directions. Pain intensity changes but it never goes away. It has been giving me migraines as well. I tried this pillow out. It's thinner than I usually like, and it's also firmer than I like, but perhaps that is what I need. Since I began using the pillow, combined with some heat treatments to the affected area, my pain level has been quite a bit better, and knock on wood - no migraines yet since I started using it about a week ago. The outer cover is pretty, but because I am lazy and don't wash my face before going to bed, I will use a case for it because my makeup will transfer to the pillow if I don't. I'd rather just wash a pillowcase. There is some odor when you first get it, but it's not bad. I let it air out for 24 hours before using it and it was fine. It comes rolled up tight in a small box but expands to full size right away. I agree that the dimensions are a little smaller than other typical pillows as well. This pillow might not work for everyone but so far it seems to be working for me.
