She placed fifth on flooring exercise after she had a step out of bounds. At the 2020 Olympic Games, Saraiva injured her ankle on her last tumbling cross on ground throughout skills, thus, performing solely on floor and stability beam. Saraiva ended the season competing on the Cottbus World Cup where she placed first on flooring exercise and second on stability beam behind teammate Andrade. She finished fifth on flooring exercise. Individually she placed fifth within the all-around, second on steadiness beam behind Riley McCusker of the United States, and was co-champion on floor exercise alongside Abby Paulson of the United States. She positioned first on stability beam, second together with her group and fifth within the all-around. Individually she gained gold on stability beam and ground exercise. During skills Saraiva suffered an ankle damage on vault but nonetheless managed to qualify to the all-around last in tenth place and the ground exercise closing in first place. Despite the injury Saraiva competed on all four apparatuses, serving to Brazil win the bronze medal behind the United States and Italy.
